The Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation
is acheived through a program provided by the Insurance
Institutes (American Institute for CPCU and Insurance
Institute of America).
There are 3 courses required to obtain the AAI designation:
AAI 81—Foundations of Insurance
Production: Insurance and the Legal System; Risk Management
and the Producer; Sales/Account Development; Homeowners
and Personal Auto; Personal Financial Planning; Commercial
Property; Business Income and Extra Expense; and Commercial
Inland Marine Insurance
AAI 82—Multiple-Lines Insurance
Production: Commercial General Liability Insurance,
Commercial Automobile, Garage and Motor Carrier, Commercial
Crime, Businessowners, Other Commercial Coverages,
Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability,
Specialty Property, Excess and Umbrella, Ocean and
Marine, and Surety Bonds.
AAI 83—Agency Operations and Sales Management:
Agency Formation/Environment, Organizational Management,
Agency Management, Personal Production Plans, Producer-Insurer
Relations, Public Image of the Agency, Agency Growth/Customer
Communications, Market Segmentation/Product Targeting,
the Automated Agency, Client Services, Agency Financial
Management.
