Gene Roberts is the President & CEO of Protegrity Holdings, Inc;
a company he privately owns after purchasing the workers compensation
(WC) service company from Humana Inc. in 2000. Protegrity Holdings
presently owns Black Bear Insurance Agency, a Florida based insurance
agency; Protegrity Services, a casualty third party administrator
specializing in WC claims and Protegrity Properties, a commercial
real estate investment company. Protegrity Holdings also successfully
created and subsequently sold NuQuest Resources and BridgePointe;
both companies specializing in the Medicare Secondary Payer marketplace
and Pivotal, a company specializing in loss prevention services.
Gene has a BS in Business Administration from Morehead State
University (1978) and a MBA from the University of Louisville
(1992). Gene has been in the insurance business since 1978 with
extensive experience in WC and professional liability claims,
as a risk manager of a 70,000 employee multi-state WC program
and then, beginning in 1993, as one of the earliest developers
of WC managed care products while employed at Humana in Louisville,
Kentucky. For the past six years, Gene lives in Orlando, Florida
and has become an entrepreneur developing companies for specific
business needs.

Drew Roberts, my son, is responsible for sales and Ivonne Acobe, who equally shares our company values, is responsible for internal operations.
